My Journey to Health and Empowerment
Hello, I’m Pippa. For most of my life, exercise wasn’t part of my routine. I had horses and convinced myself that looking after them was enough to keep me fit. However, in 1999, everything changed when I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition that left me bedridden and reliant on steroids, leading to weight gain and a weakened body. Any exertion left me exhausted, unable to work or engage in physical activity.
Determined to improve my health, I decided to make a concentrated effort to get fitter and change my nutrition. The journey wasn’t easy; the next few years were marked by sporadic attempts at personal training sessions and inconsistent nutrition habits. Frustrated by the fluctuations in my weight and overall health, I knew I needed a sustainable solution.
The real breakthrough came when I started lifting weights and paying close attention to my nutrition. The results were astounding. Not only did my body transform, but so did my mindset. I fell in love with fitness and felt a passion ignite within me. This newfound love for exercise empowered me in ways I never imagined.
I wanted to learn more about planning, exercise, and nutrition, so I qualified as a personal trainer. Through this journey, I realised I could help others who felt just like I did—lacking confidence and unsure where to start.
Today, I am dedicated to helping others shortcut their path to loving fitness and prioritising health. I understand what it’s like to feel lost and overwhelmed by the thought of starting a fitness journey. But I am here to guide you, support you, and show you that it’s possible to transform your life through exercise and proper nutrition.

As a coach, I believe in a holistic approach to health and fitness, centered around three key principles: Movement, Nutrition, and Mindset. These pillars form the foundation of my coaching philosophy.

Movement
Regular physical activity is crucial for overall well-being. I emphasise the importance of finding enjoyable and sustainable forms of exercise, including weightlifting, PT sessions and group training. Movement is not just about burning calories; it’s about building strength, improving mobility, and enhancing your quality of life.

Nutrition
What you put into your body significantly impacts your health and fitness. Nutrition is often overlooked, yet it plays a vital role in achieving your fitness goals. I advocate for balanced, nutritious eating habits that fuel your body and support your fitness journey. Through personalised nutrition advice and coaching, I help you develop sustainable eating habits that complement your exercise routine and overall lifestyle.

Mindset
When you realise that you have the power to choose your habits—whether it’s exercising or eating well—it becomes incredibly empowering and builds confidence. I help my clients develop a growth mindset by focusing on setting realistic goals, staying committed, and overcoming mental barriers. Your mindset shapes your journey, and recognising the power of choice is essential for sustainable success.

Pippa has been my PT for 7 or more months now and what a fun and incredibly rewarding journey it has been so far. I’ve also been attending one of her circuit classes once a week. Pippa has successfully changed my mindset when it comes to nutrition and also has been instrumental in my overall well-being/mindfulness journey. She is knowledgeable and takes the time to understand your specific goals and tailors the sessions accordingly. Every week I am improving physically and mentally. The work I’ve put in with Pippa during PT and circuits, as well as outside of these sessions, is also massively paying off on the tennis court (my agility and fitness are the best it has been for a long time). Since i training with Pippa a year ago I have gone down two dress sizes,

Pippa has also given me advice on tweaking my diet and being more active during the week, and gives me tailored short home workouts to do at home a couple of times a week.
Pippa really looks at the whole “you” – encouraging you to look for tweaks in your lifestyle and to celebrate “non-scale victories” such as feeling better or fitting into clothes rather than focussing on what the scales say.

2 years on and I’m still training with Pippa, using weights and doing exercises that I never believed I’d have the strength or ability to do. I can honestly say I feel like a different person.

I have been enjoying Pippa’s imProvfit circuit training classes on a Saturday morning. I find that not only have I met some great people it’s a great way to start my weekend, and although I have only been doing this for a couple of months, I have more energy, feel stronger, and look a little more toned.

Approaching my 60th birthday, I decided I needed to get fitter. A friend told me about Improvfit, so I joined their intro to circuits classes on Saturday mornings. The classes are great, and Pippa is so encouraging to everyone (even us oldies). I am now doing two sessions a week and certainly feeling the benefit.I have been working with these guys since years now! With lots of hard work and timely communication they made sure they delivered the best to me. Highly recommended!
